Bingham Area Health & Dental Center was the first practice in the HealthReach system. We opened our doors in 1975 to offer a community healthcare center to our neighbors in rural Bingham, Maine. If you’re looking for affordable healthcare and dental care near Caratunk, Embden, Moscow, Pleasant Ridge, Solon, The Forks, West Forks, and surrounding areas along the Kennebec River in Somerset County, Maine, you are welcome here.

We offer medical, behavioral health, and dental services all under one roof, making it easy and convenient for you to get complete care at a reasonable cost. We partner with Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan when outside hospital services are needed, and maintain strong connections with other helpful partners in our community to support your needs. Who We Are

For more than 50 years, the Bingham Area Health Council has been a volunteer-led organization dedicated to supporting HealthReach’s mission to ensure that residents of our region will always have access to healthcare close to home.

When our community’s only doctor retired in 1975, a group of concerned citizens from Bingham, Moscow, Pleasant Ridge, and Concord joined together to form the Bingham Area Health Council. Through their tireless efforts and the generosity of local individuals and organizations, the Bingham Area Health Center became—and remains—a place where Mainers can receive affordable, accessible, and quality medical, behavioral, and dental care.

What Donations Do

One hundred percent of every donation to the Bingham Area Health Council supports medical, behavioral, and dental services in our community. Over the years, gifts from individuals and organizations have helped us to grow our capacity and maintain modern facilities that allow us to offer quality care and recruit qualified healthcare professionals.
