MEDICAL ASSISTANT or LPN

HealthReach Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to support a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who sees patients on a rotating basis at 2 health centers our Sheepscot and Lovejoy locations. Responsibilities include triage, laboratory functions, recording medical information, direct patient care and education, processing mental health referrals, supporting the behavioral health staff and electronic medical record documentation. Sheepscot Valley Health Center (Coopers Mills, Maine), founded in 1980, is a part of HealthReach Community Health Centers – a Federally Qualified Health Center consisting of twelve community health centers located across Central and Western Maine. The health center is located in a close-knit, supportive community ideally located between the state capital of Augusta, home to the University of Maine-Augusta and numerous shopping opportunities, and only 30 minutes from the beautiful Maine mid-coast region dotted with lighthouses and sea-side villages.

Lovejoy Health Center (Albion, Maine), founded in 1978, is a part of HealthReach Community Health Centers – a Federally Qualified Health Center consisting of twelve community health centers located across Central and Western Maine. Albion is situated among the rolling hills and wide-open fields of Kennebec County in the heart of a farming community. Albion is 20 minutes from the developing art scene in Waterville, Maine, which also offers shopping amenities, dining opportunities, and is home to Colby and Thomas Colleges. In the other direction, Albion is 30 minutes from the beautiful Belfast, Maine community on the Maine coast.
