Responsibilities include maintaining the records included in the patient’s health information portfolio, including medical history, symptoms, examination results, diagnostic tests, treatment methods, consents and provider/consultant letters; Filing appropriate documents received via electronic transmission or through scanning according to determined categories in a consistent and timely manner; Entering clinical data (including service dates) from external sources (diagnostic reports, specialists’ reports, immunization records, etc.) into the records of individual patients. Maintains a high level of confidentiality of patient health information, business information, and employee information to remain in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations. Must show great attention to detail, be highly accurate and can work independently and efficiently; Must have high level computer skills as well as excellent customer service, problem solving, telephone and communication skills.
