Sheepscot Valley Health Center seeks a Physician (BC/BE in Family Medicine) with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills. The selected candidate will provide outpatient medical care with integrated behavioral health services to individuals and families. Sheepscot Valley Health Center (Coopers Mills, Maine), founded in 1980, is a part of HealthReach Community Health Centers – a Federally Qualified Health Center consisting of twelve community health centers located across Central and Western Maine. The health center is located in a close-knit, supportive community ideally located between the state capital of Augusta, home to the University of Maine-Augusta and numerous shopping opportunities, and only 30 minutes from the beautiful Maine mid-coast region dotted with lighthouses and sea-side villages. The selected candidate will receive a SIGN-ON BONUS, competitive salary and benefits, malpractice coverage, pension plan with employer match, relocation, and loan repayment opportunities. We would consider a candidate working three-quarter time.

The ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, provide quality patient care, and be committed to the team is essential.  Responsibilities include triage, immunizations, chronic disease management, laboratory functions, recording medical information, direct patient care and education, and medical record documentation. The selected candidate will receive competitive salary and benefits, new hire bonus of $7,600 and pension plan with employer match.
